Not As Durable as Advertised...

I bought this as a gift for my husband, specifically because of the description and reviews attesting to durability ("This Travel Humidor System is known for its durability. It is able to take such a beating that we call it "indestructible").
While this has been functional in keeping the cigars safe, it hasn't really met any other expectations. First trip it went out on, glass cracked and case was dented. Second trip, paint started to flake off the front latches. Third trip, hinges broke. None of these trips were particularly brutal or strenuous, but I'm guess this is a better travel case for those golfing, traveling by car/airplane, etc. I do not recommend it for outdoor activities such a camping, field training, etc, and there is nothing special or structural about the plastic shell. This one has not even been dropped, but I imagine it would easily crack if it was.
One positive, even after the hinges broke - as long as it was kept close with a strap or tie, it did retain humidity.

Rock solid performance.

Not just a classy looking travel humidor, it's effective, too. Rock solid with holding the humid for over two weeks, now and shows no sign of wavering. Solid construction. Will hold 10 Churchills without any issues. Love this box. Will purchase one as a gift in a few weeks.
Good case, tough.

Works pretty well. Not sure how well the gauge on the lid works. Threw a smaller humidity bag inside to see if it held and was higher than the percentage on the bag. Cigars seem to be okay. I use it when I travel. Throw it in my bag and don't have to worry them getting crushed. Pretty tough box. Not Pelican case quality, but good price for decent enough container. Fits just about any size cigar as well.
Great humidor - travel or home

I really like this humidor. I have purchased several reasonably-priced wooden humidors in the past, and they all disappointed. This box does an excellent job. It even "rehabilitated" some cigars that were dried out in my previous humidor that worked poorly. The construction is rugged, the air seal works, and it is not too heavy for travel. I will be using this at home - not just for travel. All-in-all, I am perfectly happy with this purchase. I rarely write reviews - this one motivated me to share.
Works for me!

The gauge is questionable, but honestly, I don't read it anyway for anything other than it's good, or I need to soak the insert things. Sorry, technical terms escape me at the moment.
