Normally I only buy Brio tracks, but for after buying a roundhouse this is a good alternative for handling diferences un track connections.
A MUST have for anyone with split tracks. Great value for the price.

If you are going to own more than just a simple ring's worth of train tracks, these pieces are a must. Every single time my kids build a track to play with they have to use at least 2-3 of these. If you have any kind of split tracks (one track that splits off into two or three tracks) then I can almost guarantee you you will need these! It's a small price to pay for all of the frustration it will save!
We purchased these for the great price and have been thrilled by the quality and compatibility. We own the following brands of wooden train tracks, and all are compatible with each other:
- Orbium
- Right Track Toys
- Brio
- Thomas
- Generic set from Tuesday Morning
- Ikea
We purchased them all at separate times but kept all the boxes in a tote for a big Christmas present for our kids. Before we opened all the boxes to combine them and wrap them up for Christmas we tested all the tracks with each other. Each of those brands fit each other very well. I would buy the cheaper tracks over the more expensive tracks any day because of the value you get.

Quality is inferior to Melissa and Doug tracks

We bought these together with the Melissa and Doug Train Set and we couldn't help notice the difference in quality between the M&D pjecey and these. You obviously get ehat you pay for, so I'm not really complaining, but it's definitely not five stars.
