Great buy!

The box it came in was pretty heavy when I brought it inside and I was a little worried about weight... Though, the backpack itself is quite heavy, it seems to be made very well, and looks quite durable. The lunch "box" that's separate from the backpack is a bit hard to take in and out of the backpack itself. Though I don't think I'll need to do that very often, as I am using it for work and will be eating at my desk most the time. I love that the lunch box cover can be tucked into the backpack pocket for easy access. And the insulation in the food compartment seems like it will do a really good job keeping things cold for a long time. The material of the backpack is nice, and I think this is going to be totally worth the money spent! So far I'm quite happy

All I can say is wow. When I first saw this online I thought it would be a decent size but never realized it would have as much storage as it does. 5 good size meal containers that allows me to keep my macro'd food nice and cold on the way from the gym to work. It also has the removable core that allows you to take all of your food out in somewhat of a lunch box shaped case and put it right into the refrigerator to keep cold throughout the workday. I mainly bought this for the convenience of actually being able to ride my street bike into work with my food for the day as well. Now I'm planning on other uses like Snow skiing out West and having it on the mountain with me to for a quick snack, water, or even adding or shedding extra clothing. To top everything off it also came with a 28oz protein shaker bottle, with an actual package of protein powder!!!!!! It's like they sent me gainz before I even used their product. 100% totally worth the money. A must buy!!!!
A Whole Lotta Bag

I'm very satisfied with this backpack. I got it for Christmas and I love the three tray organizer and the zipper pouches for the ice packs, they're a good size so other styles of ice packs can fit as well. The backpack to wear is very comfortable and is good quality. The side pouches fit any shaker cup I put in there plus if you have an energy drink or pre-work out in a can those fit perfect as well, plus the pockets are insulated so they stay cooler longer. The containers that come with it are kind of small in volume but you can just simply buy bigger containers if your meals are higher in ounces. All the pockets are really versatile, my only complaint is that it is a relatively thick backpack but when you get a bag specifically made for carrying meals it would be a normal issue to run into, it's a bag that was made to do something it usually doesn't but despite that being the only thing that's cumbersome, the other feature totally outshine that small set back. Plus the shaker cup that comes with it is great quality as well!
Awesome backpack!!

This backpack is awesome. It is very well made and so versital for combining 2-3 bags into one. I use for work and I can keep all my meals and odds & ends in one bag. I went with the expedition 500 for the taller side pockets and extra room in lunch area for my meals. I don't carry five meals but I can easily fit my hot sauce, seasonings, snacks and those sorts of things inside the lunch box area. I highly recommend this bag for anyone looking for a lunch bag with plenty of room for most of your other belongings. It carries nice on back and very comfortable. I was sent wrong size by mistake and once I let seller know they overnighted me the correct size. Customer service was quick to respond and took care of business.

I ordered this a couple weeks back and I absolutely love it! I work two jobs and am a full-time graduate student. I am always on the go so it is hard to not order fast food all the time. Yeah, $130 may seem like an absurd price for a backpack, but with the money you save being able to prep a couple meals instead of spending $7-$12 per meal depending on where you go or what you eat makes it a no-brainer at the end of the day. If you can save a couple bucks per meal prepped 5 days a week, the bag pays for itself.
There isn't a ton of room inside the bag, so if you're a huge note taker in class or bring all of your books with you, you should probably opt for a normal backpack and one of 6 Packs lunchboxes. However, with only one class per night in grad school I only need my laptop and MAYBE one book per day which easily fits in the computer compartment together. If you're an undergraduate student though taking multiple classes per day, with multiple overpriced textbooks, don't even bother.
The meal compartment is great. Just remember the lids aren't microwaveable. It keeps my meals cold all the way through my 10 hour shifts at work. The containers are dishwasher safe and so far no spills, breaking, or cracks. The gel packs so far are sturdy and stay solid. If you are worried about the gel pack busting horror stories, search the hard plastic ice packs by 6 pack and they fit perfectly. It's also just smart to have back up freezer packs for those days you forget to pull them out and freeze them the night before.
The quality of the bag is great. It feels very well made. All the zippers are working and functioning properly. No horror stories here. I am very satisfied with my purchase and would suggest this to anyone except undergraduate college students taking more than 1-2 classes a day. Otherwise if you're a gym rat, work long hours, or you're just always on the go this bag is for you.
