Sharp, but unwieldy

I have the 8" version and love it. I decided to buy the 10" to use at my beach house. The 10" is a bit too long for the thickness of the metal. It flexes almost like a fillet knife. To be quite honest, 10" is too big for a chef's knife anyways. It's unwieldy. All that being said, it is a very sharp knife... but go with 8".
Beautiful, large and sharp

I love this knife. I question myself as to why I didn't buy a large knife a long time ago. I just simply love this.
10" Version...Great Knife!

Got the 10" version to use in the kitchen I work in and so far its awesome. No complaints. It's a good looking quality knife and even though its not of henckels higher end variety, it is a great knife that tops any of the work provided ones I've been using for the past year. If you're new to the culinary profession and want something to start out with that doesn't break the bank I would recommend this to you. You can learn to sharpen, hone, and all of your knife skills before you decide if you want to spend more money. Made in Spain with German steel and forged...pretty much can't go wrong with a Henckels, just stay away from the Chinese stuff if you want something that will last you awhile.
