Excellent cover. Keeps most all rain out though I ran my own seal for the front cab area because theirs did not do well in the car wash. Sturdy and looks sleek! Overall very happy for the price. My factory ford one I replaced was only slightly more water tight. I recommend this cover to anyone with a ford f150.

Very happy with the bed cover. Replaced a Gator cover with a new Gator. Had this brand for eight years before the latch wore away and wouldn't keep the cover closed. I will definitely recommend this cover to everyone.

The instructions that came with this thing are confusing. I recommend watching a YouTube video if you're unsure. It took me about 20 minutes to set up after a couple of adjustments.

Folding it up to put oversized stuff in the bed is easy. All you have to do is loosen 2 clips and fold. It has buckles to secure the folded cover to the truck so it doesn't go flapping in the wind. They may look flimsy, but they hold it down completely, even at highway speeds.

It's still holding up almost a year later. They don't claim it's waterproof, but it keeps the stuff inside the bed pretty dry - just don't put stuff in the corners because it seems like that's the only place water really gets in.

Note: This thing seems to love to attract pollen. It sticks to it like a film. You'll need to give it a good wash/scrub if you want it to come off. Nothing a carwash won't fix.

Overall, solid product for the price.

My son and I Just finished installing this Gator soft roll up tonneu cover onto my 2019 F150 regular cab 8ft bed. Both my son and I are mechanical engineers and we do our own maintenance work on the multiple vehicles that we own. We hope that you find our observations and suggestions helpful.
A few things to note: 1.) the aluminum side rail on the passenger side was fine, but the drivers side rail was not bent to a 90 degree angle and required that we spend roughly ½ hour gently bending it to 90 angle using a shop vise with heavily covered jaws and working 5-7" at a time with a machinists square to check progress. This bending correction done, the track matched the passenger side, looked better and gave a proper flat surface for the cross support rods to rest on.
2.) My truck, like many new trucks, has plastic top of box side covers. With these in place, the clamps supplied tended to angle inward at the base due to the wide amount of material at the top (side rail with gasket, plastic cap and steel bed structure) and the short length of the leg cast into the clamps themselves at the bottom. This causes the bed rail to roll downward and reduces the contact area and holding performance (we had 2 roll off after tightening with wrench). Our solution was to cut 1" lengths of 1-1/2" x ½" x 16 ga rectangular steel tubing as spacers that we slipped over the lower clamp ears. This brought the clamp jaws parallel and made a perfect tight seal from rails to bed side while securely holding the rails in place. Also I'd recommend that you push the bolts as far up in the slots as possible to focus the bolt tension force on the gasket area for a tight seal.
3.) The clamps supplied were in a quantity of 6 pcs. Sufficient for a 5-1/2 or 6 foot box, but for an 8 foot bed it seems marginal. Including 2 more (for a total of 8, or 4 per side) would be a welcome addition for those of us who need the longer box length.
Other than the above 3 items this looks to be a well-built unit. It fit the truck bed great and stays in place at speed (we ran it up to 90 mph to check). The 10 year warranty on the soft cover gives me peace of mind and I like the way it looks on the truck.

I originally bought my cover to just hide my items in back of my truck from thieving eyes. I did not think a cheap cover would make a water tight seal. But this cover will make a water tight seal on a 2019 F150. I'm not sure if it works on all trucks, but it works on mine.

Now if I take a pressure washer and stand and spray some of the corners, a little bit of water will leak into the bed at the edges. But it's not enough to make me worry that my stuff will be wet. In my experience, I have not had rain water leak into the bed while driving or sitting still.

Onto the install, I had no experience putting one of these covers onto a truck before. I would say it probably took my brother and I longer to install than it should have. The instruction are not the best so I opted to use their YouTube video or a video here on Amazon (can't remember) for a how to install. The hardest part is connecting/sliding the cover into the metal frame connected at the front of the bed. We finally got it slid into the grove only to find out we had the cover upside down. Other than that it's not hard to install if you follow the how to video.

I'm sure if you took the time and got the angles almost perfect the cover would be water tight against anything.

Mine has been through about 20,000 miles and the elements and still works as intended. I have had no issues at any speed (including the factory set speed limit) incase anyone is wondering about that.

I will say if you do not intend to carry anything like a 4 wheeler or anything that takes the whole bed of the truck and is taller than the cover, I would suggest getting a hard cover that is foldable. This is because it is tedious to roll and unroll the cover multiple times in a day. Other than that, this cover is perfect.
