After using this filter for almost a week the water taste is terrible.
It might be made in the USA but it does not make it a good product. My kids are drinking faucet water because of it. Do not make the same mistake hoping to save money by buying a cheaper brand than the Aqua Pure for your Samsung refrigerator.
Personally, I just reordered a Aqua Pure filter by Samsung so my family can safely drink water again.

It fits my Samsung fridge where most of the others don't! Be careful when you buy. The filter with the Jun06 label on it is the one that fits my fridge. The filter with the Samsung label on it was the one I ordered from another vendor and it DID NOT fit!

I purchased this product after the genuine Samsung filters nearly doubled in price. (So annoying) Unfortunately, this filter makes our water taste like, well, tap water. Or as my nine-year-old said, "It tastes like hotel water."

At first I was worried because after installing the filter, there was dripping at the water dispensor after filling a glass with water (this never happened with the OEM filter). However, after a few days, the dripping stopped and everything seems to be working fine. Good way to save a few dollars.
