I got this water filter for our family's emergency kit. I wanted something small enough to throw in a backpack, but not so small that it would take forever to get a good amount of water.
After looking at different water filters, this seemed like a good fit.
Pros:
-Comes with a well-constructed and thought-out case. Everything has a place.
-Is effective at getting the visible stuff out. I don't know about the microorganisms, but it sure gets the dirt.
- Isn't too hard to use.
Cons:
- Manual isn't the clearest, but ya figure it out.
- Plastic parts can erode depending on storage, weather, etc. Make sure to check your parts before using, and clean when done.
All-in-all, it's a good find for an emergency pack or 72-hour kit.
