Awesome buy. If you're on the fence about these, hop off the fence and pull the trigger, you will not be disappointed.

Great set. Especially good for a beginner/novice woodworker who may not have accumulated the extras like the sharpening stone and the bevel gauge (can't remember exactly what it's called). The chisels felt to be very good quality and were VERY sharp. Actually, I have a cut on my thumb that shows exactly how sharp. I found something to use the chisels on as soon as I opened the box, definitely a must-have tool for anyone who does any kind of work with wood and this is a GREAT value for the money.
Great chisels at a great price.

I ordered this set of chisels for a job I was doing. To my surprise the order came a day early just in time for the job to start. The tools worked great. I like the fact that it comes with a good case a sharping stone and sharpening guide.
Not easily impressed!

Best set that I have had yet, extremely sharp and durable. I intend to get the larger set in the near future!

Received promptly and in good shape. The wooden case is a nice feature and was not cracked. I like having the variety of 8 chisel sizes and the chisels which appear to have a smooth grind with no obvious burrs that I could feel or see. Overall look and feel are fine. The day it was received, I used the larger chisels on a project requiring dado cleaning and appeared to do a fine job clearing out and paring down the wood of 8 large dados. I plan to hone these to a slightly sharper angle for use in making dovetails in both hardwood and softwood. Having owned only 3 Stanley chisels for the past 30 years, these were an excellent addition to my tool collection. For the price, I'd recommend the set. Can't comment on the sharpening stone, be sure to read others feedback re the stone.
