It worked as well as I expected. It would have received 5 stars but for the work it actually requires to clean the deck. I was a painting contractor for 24 years and did many decks. I do not recommend using a power washer after applying this material. I guarantee you will gouge the wood if it is soft like cedar. Even the brushing brings up grain, but this shows that the wood softens with this product. If you dared to use the wrong nozzile on the PW, you WILL regret it.
Just do the labor and brush it around. I recommend cutting back the amount per gallon unless you are removing a solid color stain. For semi-transparent use half the formula. Spray it on with a garden sprayer, then brush it out. Hose down with the hose nozzle at its strongest, then rinse well, very well. During the brushing, to maintain a wet edge, spray lightly with water. It still works.
