A pretty decent jump rope

This is a pretty decent jump rope. I like the long handle, and the grip remains tight for a couple hours of exercise on a hot summer day. The rope is easily adjustable (and cut). I give it four stars because it lasted only for a month, and I had expected it to be a bit more durable. I used it exclusively on an outdoor parking lot covered with the concrete. I keep track of my exercise and jumped for approximately 80,000 times when the rope snapped at the half length. I saw no visible sign of wear so was thinking of it as pretty durable. I do not remember seeing the specific instruction as to where this product is intended to be used. But having seen the instruction of other jump ropes, these things should in general be used indoors or on a smooth surface for longer durability rather than on the concrete (which may be considered the "rough ground"). Perhaps the product I received happened to be less sturdy. Currently, I am using other jump ropes, which seem much less durable, and may eventually come back to this product. I suggest giving it some thought on which surface to jump on if jumproping is part of your daily routine and you want your rope to last for as long as you expect (you might also want to stock an extra jump rope as a backup when the one you are using breaks unexpectedly).

This rope is much heavier than the thin cable ropes Ive bought on amazon, i.e. the procircle and wodnation, but exactly what I was looking for. The handles are light plastic and feel a bit cheaper than I expected, but seem to hold up nicely and are comfortable in my hands. The rope turns smoothly and definitely gives my arms (and whole body) a MUCH better workout than the cable ropes. If you are currently using the cable ropes and want to significantly intensify your cardio, get this rope. I personally find DUs to be easier with this as well.
The swivel handles make the difference.

I decided to make jumping rope my exercise of choice when my Schwinn elliptical broke. The jump rope I already owned kept getting tangled at first I thought it was me but later I figured it must be a problem with the rope. This is the best rope I've used. For being a thicker rope, it's very fast. The way they attached the rope to the handles, plus the length of the handles, it doesn't wear out my wrist or forearms at all. As fast as I can push myself, especially running in place while roping, this rope makes it crazy easy to do. Awesome rope. I highly advise buying it.
