This is a durable, professional grade hair clipper that cuts smoothly and evenly. The motor is quiet, the blade easy to remove and clean. The polycarbonate shell is rugged and has a rubberized grip. The razor comes with multiple hair length attachments that clip to the blade and stay affixed, a beard brush and styling comb, blade oil and guards, and a storage pouch.

The only drawbacks I've experienced to date are 1) that the cord is not lengthy. So depending on the space you have, a short extension cord may be needed, and 2) that thick, coarse hair requires several passes to shorten. But I don't have a basis for comparison and imagine that this would challenge any clipper.

This Remington Shortcut Pro trimmer is terrific, and it's why I moved from salons and barbershops to cutting my own hair. It's been a wonderful change, saving me about 12 hours and $150 per year. It's given me more creative control over my look, and because it's so much quicker and cheaper than driving to a salon or barbershop, I can do it more often, maintaining the look that I want.

Remington's customer service is terrific, as is the 5-year warranty (which I doubt you'll get with no-name knockoff). When one of the attachment combs broke, I called Remington and they sent me several replacements, and a new comb my earlier-released kit had been missing.

I've had this trimmer for 5 years and love it. I'd highly recommend this one or one of the similar newer Remington models.

I have been buzz cutting my hair for quite some time with a corded wall trimmer. This product is nice ergonomically, has a good variety of trimmer lengths to chose from and the curve of the trimmer helped me get a close trim without having to spot check as much. I tent to trim my beard mostly to the same length as my hair and this trimmer did have a harder time getting through my beard when it was a bit long. It would be nice if this trimmer had a little more power and a better storage solution. Overall I like the product though.

While you're cutting your hair, instead of it getting all over your clothes, all over your sink/floor or whatever room you're doing your hair in, barely ANY hair gets on anything.

Just a few whispies come off but easily 95-99% of the hair is vacuumed up into the little compartment on the machine, which is super fast and easy to empty and has a good capacity.

I find that I only have to empty it probably once, maybe twice max when I give myself a full haircut.

Due to the built-in vacuum technology, you can cut your hair or trim your facial hair RIGHT before you go somewhere (e.g. right before you head to work) without any worry about a major clean up whatsoever.
You can even cut your hair AFTER taking your shower, if you want to!

With all the other clippers I've ever owned until now, I had to strip down when I'd cut my hair or wear a cape because hair would get stuck in my clothes.

Then there would be a big clean up job and had to take a shower to get all the hair off my neck, face and body. Well, thanks to this BRILLIANT unit? NOT ANYMORE!!!

I can't imagine clippers without the vacuum feature, and again the clipper part itself is super high quality and gives the best haircut you'll ever get that seriously rivals a professional, expensive cut from a barber.

One minor thing to keep in mind is that these are slightly bigger than clippers that don't have the vacuum feature, due to the compartment that holds the hair it picks up.

So you have to get used to how it feels to hold these due to their slightly larger size. But you get used to it very quickly, and it's totally worth it!!

I do recommend learning how to get a good blend by watching YouTube videos, no matter what clippers you use, for the best results possible.

That's how I learned and people always assume I got my hair professionally cut at the barber even tho I have no formal training!

BONUS: Excellent customer service experience from Remington when I got a model where the vacuum component quit. They immediately sent me a replacement and allowed me to keep the first set (which still worked as regular clippers just no vacuum on that one.) Ok took my chances, read all the reviews. I order this new vacuum haircut device from (Amazon) and here are my results! It works great cutting hair but it still left a little mess on the sink. Had to empty the chamber twice because I have alotta hair! Oh well nothing perfect But no complaints here, I like it better than the flowbee machine. Bo0M ðŸ˜it said made for Men I beg to differ!
