Snapped in two on first casual usage

I kept this knife under my bed for protection and have only used it one occasion in the year since purchase on which it snapped in two with some very gentle use. The blade is NOT steel but of some composition which has no strength.

great product, have not used it yet but it is sturdy and arrived ontime. I am always on the lookout for decent knives at lower cost, This one fits the bill.

First, I got mine on gold box sale, only $11. At that price this thing is a steal. At $30, I'm skeptical. Opening it up, it looks nice, no blemishes, although once you look closer it's obviously cheap. Handle looks like a rubbery plastic and sheath is clearly pleather. Then I noticed that the guard is loose, and wiggles. I sharpened it and it took a good edge, but the blade "feels" soft under my stone, so time will tell how well it holds that edge. Overall, if you know that you're getting a knock-off, and don't intend it for heavy use, it's fine. Just know that it's definitely not a Ka-bar.
Early returns are promising.

So far so good. I haven't used it yet but it cleaned up nice. The hilt is loose which tends to indicate poor quality but it is one thick piece of steel. It should fit my needs but it is not a collectors knife and given the price that wasn't an expectation.

What a great knife for the money. Well built of heavy materials. Looks kinda handmade and great too. The only downside is that the sheath is a little to perfect looking. It's heavy enough but just look really mass produced.
