Works great- why pay more?

There are all price ranges on these fireplace style space heaters, but on the end if it does what it is supposed to do, why pay more? I've only operated it one day when it was cold and rainy, but it did the job in our small cabin.

I purchased my first duraflame electric woodstove for my bedroom because it's on the north side of the house and our central heating couldn't quite get the job done. I liked this heater because it had a remote control and I could turn it on/off from my bed, control the brightness of the flames, etc.
Having the first heater for a while, I realized that my 16 year old cat loved laying directly in front of it. So this past fall I bought a second one for the living room, just for him.
The one upstairs is really only on for the hour I'm getting ready in the morning, where the living room one is now on for hours in the evening and on weekends. He lays in front of it until he overheats and moves to the couch.

My wife has already purchased one of these a few years ago. We really like it. The heater does a good job of warming up a space. The only issue is that it trips my breakers at times if I have too many other items plugged in. It is what it is though. Win-win.
