Heater has a large amount of output for its smaller size. It fits in the limited wall space while being safe distance from combustible materials. Very good value for the price so far.
It’s wonderful

I bought this for myself as a Christmas present. I dislike the aesthetic of generic space heaters that don't have a spot, so much as being just... out somewhere. This looks like a piece of furniture, and fits the aesthetic of my rrom. I am tickled pink by it!
Pros:
-Does a great job heating.
-You can use the top like a piece of furniture / put things on it. The top doesn't get hot at all.
-The door opens and closes with a satisfying CLANG (not too loud, but doesn't feel like cheap plastic for example)
-I love the little details like the wire wrapped handle. So pretty!
Cons:
-The fire is not particularly realistic. But realistic fake fire is expensive and difficult, so I think this is realistically the best you can do until you go to some expensive (four-figure) holographic fireplaces.
-You can't turn on the heat without ALSO turning on the fire light.
-The controls are unintuitive, and you actually have to look at the manual to figure it out (it's easy once you know, though!)
-The knobs don't have a thing to stop them from over-turning, so it'll just keep turning without changing the heat or light settings once you get past a point.
Despite the downsides (I can list downsides of ANYTHING), I still love it! It's my favorite thing that I bought last year.

I have wanted to buy an electric fireplace since I saw one at a relative's house. When I asked to see the flame effects, he said that he was sorry, but this didn't work. I wondered why, and now I know what may have happened to his electric fireplace.
My own arrived 15 days after purchase, just after the Christmas holiday. I have added a photo of the box. Nowhere on the box does it say not to turn the box on its side or not to turn upside down. However, the unit is otherwise well packaged. I do not recall seeing anything about not keeping the unit upright in the instruction and operating manual (seen in the foreground in the photo) that comes with the appliance. I noticed when I was installing the four legs on the bottom of the unit that it seemed to have something loose inside. When I turned the fireplace on, it made a thump-thump sound. When I reached over the top of the curved, plastic screen inside the fireplace, I could feel a metal rod with irregular, flanged shapes on it. This was what was loose. I contacted the importer for the fireplace by telephone and learned that I had to remove the back of the fireplace to put this piece back in place. There are about 20 screws on the back of the unit. About half of these hold the backplate in place, and the others hold the curved, plastic screen in place. Once the backplate was removed, I saw what was wrong. The rod with the irregular shapes is attached to a motor that is on a metal bracket that has plastic offsets that are supposed to be attached to the bottom of the fireplace. It seems like this piece was glued to the bottom of the fireplace instead of screwed. It would only take three more little screws on the bottom of the fireplace that fits into the plastic offsets for the motor to have avoided this problem. I found three screws to reattach this assembly horizontally, and now my electric fireplace has the desired flame effects.
I feel sorry for the importer who must be having problems with this assembly shaking loose in the fireplace and the flame effects not working. I wonder how many customers are calling the helpline on account of not having these three screws installed?
Other than this one thing and my wasted time to fix the unit, I am quite happy with the unit and will spend this evening eating dinner in front of my new electric fireplace.
