I think these humidor crystals are good .......

I buy cigars in packs of 20-25 for the golf course and usually have 20-50 cigars in the humidor all the time.
The crystals and other humidity control products I used before these tubes worked just fine, but they are old so these tubes seem like an upgrade for me.
These tubes are really simple to set-up and the paperwork says they need attention every 1 - 3 months. That I like a lot. My other control products needed attention weekly.
HOWEVER, the crystal tubes have been in my humidor now for 4 days and the humidity level is below 60%. I have about 40 cigars in the humidor and two of these crystal tubes in the humidor so that might be an issue. I am no sure.

The Drymistat humidifier tubes seem to do the job. I use 1 per 25 cigars exactly as the instructions suggest, inside a desktop humidor that can hold 25-50 cigars. Humidity seems to sit stable at 70% with just one tube in place. It's somewhat confusing as to how to fill the tube to the fill line since the crystals appeared to be 100% puffed out in the tubes already, despite that I added a little distilled water. Humidity was at 70% inside my new humidor within 24 hrs. Humidity level has remained stable over the course of several days.
I like these tubes because they're simple and easy to use...you can use tap water presuming your water isn't too hard (i.e. well water). Otherwise a safe bet is to use distilled water to ensure the life of the tube isn't reduce from overly-hard water. At $7 each the price is much better than the Boveda packs since the tubes are guaranteed to last 1 yr.

I don't think these things work. I have to put a shotglass of water in the desktop humidor, and the gummy crystals on't seem to affect humidity or change in any way. Just sitting there... Gonna buy me some of those bead things from Canada.
Want to completely waste your time? If so, buy this product. It will definitely waste your time and money !

WORTHLESS !! WASTE of time and money. Product arrives in a slimy plastic wrap with no instructions. I went online and carefully followed what instructions were available, Almost impossible to fill the tube with any distilled water and when I was able to add ANY distilled water, humidity level in my humidor decreased to 67% in a matter of a few days. I added a second Drymistat and it did absolutely nothing. I now have to make a trip to my quality cigar store 30 minutes away for a quality humidifying device. To make matters ever WORSE, Amazon tells me this product does NOT qualify for a return. What a piece of ****.
