Nice but need to include more cables - and be sure to confirm which version you're ordering.

So far working well, but these come with only 3 PCIe cables - a huge shortcoming if you're setting up mining rigs and need 1 PCIe per GPU. Had to order additional cables which is irritating considering how many modular ports these come with. Why don't they just include enough cables to start with? The EVGA 750w's I got all came with 4 PCIe each (but they were out so I've switched to these). I am saving some watts using the larger PSUs, too - they're more efficient when you're not at 95% capacity as I was before.

Also be SURE to notice if the RMx or TX version (or other) is highlighted when you click the Add to Cart button. I ended up with the TX versions the first go around and had to return them all as they don't have nearly enough connectors.
Reliable PSU with room for a little bit of customization

Ive been using this for more or less a year now and it still preforms exceptionally well.
the device can be interfaced via USB if you want to adjust fan/power settings. for practical purposes i have mine set to always be at 50% for the fan speed.
Using this with threadripper and two 1080's you will probably get a max workload of 640watts with 280watts idle. If you think that means you can safely get a lower wattage PSU you are mostly correct. the more wattage headroom you have on a PSU the more efficent it runs and the less likely the mofset is going to go off. So if you are paranoid for safety/stability and reliability like I am, get the RM1000i otherwise you could get away with the 750w or 800w models.
Hurricane Harvey sent a lightening strike down a power line ...
Mary J Page✓ Verified PurchaseOctober 11, 2017
Hurricane Harvey sent a lightening strike down a power line and it blew my main computer. Using the paper clip test I discovered it was the power box and the the 24 pin ATX. A variety of cables came with it and filled the need to distribute power. Did not have to wait in line at a store. Amazon managed to get it to my door. I work online so was able to go back to work quickly. Thanks
Affordable, modular, works

Decided to rebuild my desktop case, and didn't want to use the second-hand AX760i again, although nothing was wrong with it. So I bought new, and picked the RMX trim level, as the AX power supplies, while fantastic, are simply a bit outside my price range when bought new. My only gripe is how it fit into my case, but that's more of the case's problem, and not a fault of the PSU itself. Runs quiet, hasn't given me any trouble at all yet.
Excellent power delivery at a very quiet level
Deacon Townsend✓ Verified PurchaseMarch 26, 2017
Love it! Its power delivery is extremely quiet. Compared to my old PSU, this one is near silent. The packaging for this product was excellent, and even came with a nice carrying bag for the extra cables. The only nitpick I have is the SATA power cables. The wires supplying power are rather thick, and as such, don't lay quite as flat as I'd like them to. I had to move my SSD drivers further back to stop the cable from resting on the bottom of the enclosure and causing the plug to have some pressure on it. Corsair, either move the wires to the back of the plug, or make the wires a bit more malleable.
