Outstanding! And I'm picky!

I was a professional Pyro in S. Cal. Our first line of tools are our butane lighters. I've seen many. These are excellent for the price! The picture does not show how big and good these lighters are! So here's a pic for you.... All lighters are shipped with minimal fuel for safety reasons. So dont go freaking out and crying like a ninny baby when it runs out after the 30th light. When filled, it lasts me months.
'A' for style, 'F' for quality...or failure.

This piece of junk lasted one week. I admit to being impressed with the size and look of this torch but I quickly learned that was the end of impressive. It started with one click almost always without an extra click but the flame could not be modulated and the little slide lock switch was merely a cosmetic dressing. Each and every flame was about 4 inches. All of this was acceptable until I clicked it one time and it would not turn off when I lifted the trigger. I had to blow the flame out. Once I did that I could hear the gentle hiss of butane emptying itself into the air and no amount of shaking, banging, or clicking would change that. When I refilled it--no I'm not stupid, I only put a little bit in--I tried lighting it again hoping I just witnessed a one time, weird event. Sadly, it was not to be as once again I had to extinguish the flame with a forceful breath.
Next stop, the garbage can.Hope you have better luck.

Nice bargin torch

Torch has worked great. I bought it this spring for lighting my charcoal grill. It has worked with out failing to light all summer. The fuel tank seems to be a decent size, I've only filled it once when it first arrived. The visible flame length is at least 1 1/2" as adjusted on mine. I've not touched the flame adjust since it is working fine as received.
The only negative might be the lack of a viewing window for seeing fuel level.
A note to those having problems with a jet torch. If the torch seems to not be lighting or the flame seems weak, try blowing out the burner nozzle with compressed air. Jet torches will not work if there is dust or dirt blocking air flow around the burner.

EDIT: Button stopped working

EDIT: The button stopped working after only 3 months. Nice lighter but doesn't last. For the price, it's probably still worth it.
After reading all the great reviews I figured I would order one. I wish I would've sooner. It does take a bit to get used to though, especially if you are not familiar with refillable butane lighters. I have had them before so I had an idea how to get it setup. If you are not familiar, here are a couple tips. First, open the valve on bottom all the way (twist left). Then, while the valve is pointing upward, insert the tip of the butane can downward into the valve. While inserted, press down for the gas to fill the tank. You'll want to hold for a good 10-20 seconds. You should feel the lighter and can get cold. Once filled, set it down and let it warm back up to room temperature before trying to light it. I usually rub it with my hands to speed it up. After a few minutes, then you'll want to close the valve about half way (twist right). Try lighting. Don't try to light a cigarette or pipe yet (mistake I made and burnt myself). Now is when you'll want to adjust the valve to get the size flame you want. I like a medium to small flame, no need to waste fuel.
You can also lock the button from being pushed by accident or by children. Another feature is that you can lock the flame on, so you can light and don't have to keep holding the button down.
As long as this lighter continues to work as it does now, it's a great value. Recommended.

GREAT LIGHTER. READ FUELLING DIRECTIONS. ( A MUST )
nothing but time✓ Verified Purchase•June 6, 2016
Now it always helps to read instructions, THIS TORCH IS THE BEST I'VE EVER OWNED, Size is great along with the style..IT'S A MUST TO RELEASE THE AIR IN THE LIGHTER, BEFORE YOU FILL. IT COMES WITH A NON FLAMMABLE GAS INSIDE.IF it releases gas after you fill it but won't ignite, take a small flat screw driver and carefully bend striker tip close to the center.
I did this to my triple and lights everytime. I like this model so much I'll be buying them for Xmas gifts
