fast shipping and good deal
At 100 watts it won't break me up in business. So far no frozen eggs all winter.

Does a great job cutting the chill in my chicken house. And no fire worries.
I think I can finally live through another Wisconsin winter.

This heater works great for what I needed it for. I was trying to find a way to build an affordable kotatsu, without having to order one from Japan and get a power converter. Plus this only uses 100 watts, so it really saves on electricity. I took an old 3' x 4' wooden table and cut the legs off at about 14.5", making the whole thing 15.5" high. Then I mounted the heater horizontally, upside-down underneath the table top. I had to improvise with a couple screws and washers, but it turned out really well. I up-righted the table, threw a full sized quilt over the top, plugged in the heater, and now my cold Wisconsin evenings are spent blissfully warm under my kotatsu, where my hubby and I eat dinner, I work on crafts, and we sometimes binge-watch Netflix. It takes about an hour to heat up underneath, but I've been using it for over 3 weeks now, and so far it's been great. A bonus is that the heater doesn't get so hot that you can't touch it with your legs. My dog usually parks herself right underneath it for the evening.
About the smell - there is a pretty strong kind of plastic-ey smell, so I ran it for a couple hours for two days before mounting it under my table, and it dissipated considerably. Under the table and quilt, I can't smell it at all.
*Note: the company that makes this heater instructs to only mount this heater vertically, so I'm not endorsing that you try this, only telling you my own experience.

Worst piece of junk I have ever purchased - it will not even keep the small enclosure of my desk warm even though on 24/7. It barely keeps the outside of my left leg warm - the other leg is still cold. And the odor is still quite strong 12 days after installation.
