They must not have tested their own product. The single strap that came with it does NOT hold it in place. When doing any movement horizontal(planks, push ups, bear crawls, mountain climbers, etc) the front upper row of weights falls outward causing the lower row of weights to do the same. The vest "folds" at the division between the upper and lower rows of weights, no matter how tight I secure the straps. It doesn't fall back into place.

The front strap inevitably pulls the D rings down because there is so much play in them. After about 2 minutes you end up with a mess of straps and weight not being where they should be.

My cheap, ZFO sandbag weight vest worked better. I ended up having to use a Velcro strap from that vest to secure the upper half of the MiR vest.

The only Pro about this thing is that it uses metal weights, so it's compact. No use of it doesn't stay in place though.

I'll start by saying, you'll be hard pressed to find better customer service, these guys have a quick and friendly response and will do whatever they can to answer your questions and make sure that you're satisfied. On to the vest. Whether you're limited on space and equipment or you're ready to level up your workouts, this thing can be used DAILY. It's super comfortable, rides high on the chest and back, rests on the shoulders well with good weight disbursement, and leaves full range of motion through the shoulders, neck and trunk. The material seems really durable and it even looks cool. A purchase you will love!

I'm going to be applying for the local police dept and wanted this vest to help get in shape and get used to walking around with 20+lbs of weight. This vest is perfect for my needs. It is made of very durable material that can withstand years of use. The weights are in 3lbs blocks that fit snuggly into the weight pockets. There are only two velcro straps that secure the vest when youre wearing it and there are 4 black d-rings on the front. The vest comes in two panels, one front and one back. Considering there are no instructions with it I suggest you lay the vest out on the floor in front of you with the pockets facing up. The panels attach with velcro on the shoulder straps. Make sure they are evenly attached so the vest is balanced front and back. The shoulder panels are then secured with straps that run over the outside.
The weights can be difficult to slide in and out of the pockets. One suggestion, if you arent going to max load the weights, make sure the weights are centered and the same amount in the front and back. If you are going to have two empty weight pockets make sure they are on the bottom row and on the far left and far right side on the front and back panel. The main velcro straps run across them so they will crush down when you snug the vest down allowing it to contour to your body better.

Got for my son as a gift and he LOVES it! It comes with all the weights you need so you can customize your workout. I was thrilled to find this on Amazon!

UPDATE MAY 2017: After contacting MiR about the issue I was promptly sent a new vest.

Vest arrived damaged. Same issue as Ryan Alexander's review. Item came in a simple priority USPS box with zero padding or packing material included. Areas where the weights held in place show signs of rubbing and there is fraying along the bottom of the weight slots as well as some small holes. Damage is around the middle area on both sides in between the top and bottom rows of weights. Will be requesting a replacement and will update my review based on how that goes. Other than that the vest looks legit. There is a good YouTube video out there if you need help with the straps but I didn't even bother assembling mine due to the condition it arrived in.
