These lights are great. They are "different" than anything I have ever used before. I don't EVER recall having seen "Edison" bulbs before. A great item for my downstairs guest bathroom. I used LED lights in my bathrooms, upstairs, because I want those lights to be super-bright, but, for my guest bathroom, downstairs, these lights are perfect. They are bright, but, not too bright!!! I am very pleased to have come across these lights!!!

UPDATE: 10 months later and these lights are still burning strong after being run nightly for roughly 12 hours. My old lights would only last 3 months due to vibrations from the wind. I'm updating my review as I order more for spares when they do burn out.
ORIGINAL REVIEW : So far so good. I'm using these in outdoor wall sconces. They definitely are softer and more orange/red than a normal incandescent. I would say these are about equal to the old 40 watt candle-shaped clear bulb. My new fixtures have "hammered" glass that unfortunately hides some of the beauty of the bulb itself. I'll see how they hold up. I was getting 6 months out of my old lights running 10-12 hrs a day. Typically a windstorm or power surge would kill the bulbs.

Looked for higher lumens, not wanting the very yellow, dim light of typical Edison bulbs but wanting the look of the bulb. These were considerably higher than most and after reading reviews, decided to give them a shot. Still yellowish and dim compared to a soft white 60 watt incandescent bulb, but not terribly so, and gives a nice ambiance! All bulbs arrived fine, nothing broken, and they all work.

Yes, bulb itself is clear however there's definitely an amber glow --- as accurately described by seller. Also they are Not very bright at all. Not sure what bulbs other reviewers have tried, but I have tried quite a few to get away from yellow/amber and really don't notice a difference (other than no yellow tint on actual bulb). Keeping them but just know what you're getting. Seller accurately described, it's the other review that threw me off.
Stylish with Warm Glow

Great stylish low light solution for industrial, farmhouse, mcm and transitional decor. Bulbs are definitely whiter than most Edison type bulbs but still not a true warm white; have slight yellow tint. Bulbs themselves are clear and of good quality, especially for the price. I am more than pleased with these bulbs. One came broken (not seller's fault) and seller immediately sent me out an entire new package of 4 at his own cost.
