I used it as a straight edge guide for a router and circular saw. It does flex about 1/8 of an inch or more in the middle pretty easily when clamped to a piece of wood at each edge and applying pressure in the middle against the flat machined edge. Because it's not rigid, it's not the best tool for this purpose, but you can work around it by clamping it in the middle and working around it as you move from one side to the other.

What more can one say other than it's an accurate straight edge, plain and simple. I used it to check the infeed and outfeed tables on my Powermatic 54R jointer for coplanar and it did the job.
No sure if its square vertically! have no way ...

Dead flat, sturdy, good price. I used it to set up my SawStop Professional table saw. It has a t2" table, so the length was important to me.
