this one so far has been the best saber from the black series re release. its no where near as nice as the Master Replicas but it is perty darn good and its even better if you can get it for under 120 bux. so far out of the 3 black series sabers i have this is the best one, Rey would be second even though it has a bit of a wobble in the blade, then the Mace Windu. This one has good color in the blade, nice sound, and it feels very solid.. i.e. no wobble in the blade. if you can find under $150 i would say go for it, but not much more than that. its nice but its not master replicas nice.

First off: Excellent. A must-buy. I only gave it 4 stars because of some small nuances. First, the on switch is small and fragile. It doesn't seem like it will last long. Also, compared to other Force FX lightsabers from Hasbro the batteries are not AA, but AAA (which caused some minor irritation as I was expecting AA because that's what they have always use except for Yoda's (much smaller) lightsaber. In addition, for some odd reason, the battery pack is covered by some sort of sheath that must be removed with a screwdriver before inserting the batteries. None of the other sabers have this, and it just seemed an unecessary inconvenience, especially since all former sabers did not have anything like that.

Overall, I'm very happy with it, and would buy it again, even though there were a couple oddities to sort out when I first got it.

Don't be fooled by the other brands that are available. While these do not have all the bells and whistles of the other sabers they are of excellent quality. The blade light moves up and down the blade when you turn it on and off, it clash sounds upon impact, it hums as you move it and the hilt is made solid with hefty gauge aluminum. I bought a cheaper brand with more features only to be very disappointed in the quality. You can strike with this one without fear of it breaking or the blade becoming detached. Great product!

My Grandson loved it

Im a big Star Wars fan and this was right uo my alley. Good sound, movie accurate, could be louder but maybe thats just me. The blade is a good contruction polycarbonate, leds are nice and bright, tiny little dark rings in the LED strip in the blade but you cant tell unless your really trying to find them. You can strike things lightky with it and the sound feedback is fantastic, I would not suggest full on dueling however, the blade is sturdy, but dueling will definatley break it. The hilt/handle is a strong lightweight machined aluminum and feels well weighted in hand. I like Force FX they make great sabers for the price. Definatley gonna buy another.
