I was thrilled to find these because they weren't in any of the local stores. So ... water chestnuts wrapped in bacon, rolled in brown sugar, and baked in the oven until the bacon gets cooked - our favorite Christmas hors d'oeuvres! Yumm!

I just received these today May 3rd. I wrap each one in a bacon strip, secure with a toothpick, put them on a cookie sheet with edges, then I put soy sauce on each one, then broil in my oven for maybe 10 minutes. Very tasty horderves.
Better than driving to stores that were out of whole water chestnuts. Their ads said they had them!!
