A Nice Sweet, Packed to Preserve Freshness

I was a bit skeptical at first to order these via Amazon given the price and some of the reviews, but I'm glad I took a chance. The taste and texture is exactly as I had remembered from my past, a rich sweet. Mine were not a sticky mess as some had experienced.
Packing is perfect - each chestnut is wrapped individually, 11in total, set in a tray, packed in a tin with a thick foil vacuum sealed in the tin, and the tin itself comes plastic shrink wrapped. I don't know how much better this can be packed to ensure it survives shipping. I can see how excessive humidity or moisture could ruin these so storage is an important factor.
Will buy again in the future.

After watching Victoria, I wanted to try marron glaces. These were nicely packaged and very good. I am not a fan of the texture of chestnuts, but I loved the flavor, an earthy caramelized sweetness, and I can understand why these are a much-loved delicacy.
