First I ordered a larger version of this thermometer from Bjerg and it arrived with a broken needle so I returned for this smaller one. It is pretty accurate. I have had to adjust it a couple of times. I mainly wanted it to determine what to wear on my afternoon walks so it serves it's purpose so far. When the temps were really low it was not displaying accurate temps - perhaps because it is hanging on the house which may be a little warmer than the outside temp. We'll see how it works when temps get hot. It is hanging on a shady wall so I think I am going to have to check this AND the temp on my phone's weather app to get the most accurate readings.

Very attractive and functional for my purposes. The thermostat does not require adjusting. The humidity gage (hygrometer) does require a tweak, covered in the instructions mentioned below, but no big deal. This unit is smaller that one it replaced but not an issue for intended placement and use. It will reside in woods surrounded by all sorts of critters but I'll be careful and keep the mud daubers subdued. It's nothing compared to the mice building multiple nests in the engine compartment of my 2002 Jeep Wrangler Sahara TJ. The squirrels enjoy electrical wiring as an occasional treat around here. So, can't get overly unsettled about the small stuff. However, I do not discount the kind and gracious suggestions of other reviewers--I may get around to implementing some of those suggestions. Oh, and the unit arrived with understandable English-culture instructions including picture with words, arrows and photo of approximate size flat head screwdriver if adjustment is required! It has been here for two weeks and is considered a most welcome addition to this old hunting cabin turned residence. It really is pleasant to look at! UPDATE: HYGROMETER NEVER WORKED. THERMOMETER ERRATIC. GO TO LOWES. SPEND $20.00 ON AN ACURITE WIRELESS INSIDE/OUTSIDE THERMOMETER/HYGROMETER. PUT THE BATTERIES IN THE OUTSIDE SENSOR AND INSIDE DISPLAY. ENJOY. THE ACURITE IS NOT A PRETTY BUT ATTRACTIVE AND FUNCTIONAL.

Very attractive, and seems to work well! I hung it in my greenhouse, and it seems to accurately record the temperature. I can't speak to the moisture level, because I have no way of cross-checking what it's telling me, but the gauges are adjustable if you find that they are off. This is a stylish addition to my greenhouse, and lets me know if it's warm enough for my plants.

Horrible product, we're very disappointed. Hung it outside and at the first rainstorm it fogged up. Then the white face started buckling and peeling off. It is just a thin plastic sheet, not hard plastic like I thought it was. As soon as the plastic face started raising off the back, the needles for temp and humidity got stuck on it and that was the end...... Have had it two months now and can't return it... :(

I just bought this in February to use around the pool when pool season came. It was on our screen porch, covered by roof and screen, and the face has wrinkled! This is an indoor/outdoor therometer but could not handle the little dampness it got on a porch? Before I pitch it, how can I contact the seller for an exchange? I feel this must be a defective one as I see others have had good luck with it! I would gladly change my rating if I got one like theirs!!
