I'm giving 5 stars because I got what I paid for. I see bad reviews but mine had none of the problems. Filter is quiet. Tank holds fish fine. It came with the initial products I needed to stabilize the water. I guess it depends on how much you pay for it. It's totally worth the $40 I paid.
I've had the tank for a week and I put platty fish in the day I got it. I put the "Day 1" ingredients (that came with it) into the water/tank and then put my fish with as much as their existing water as I could reuse in the tank (that was half full with tap water).

So far so great! I think this tank is absolutely wonderful for a plastic tank, it is not acrylic so it will not be as sturdy. I honestly think for the amount I payed it is so worth it! To anyone who wants any information about the tank you can buy filters on amazon as well for this tank. You can even subscribe to them to receive them when you need them. Overall it is a very nice tank and I think it is worth the money. The LED lights are meant to be plugged into an outlet, which was a huge bonus for me knowing that my last tank made by another company was battery powered. The filter is very quiet and seems to work well so far.

A note about how many fish should be best for this tank: no more than 6-7 fish if each fish are approximately an inch long. This tank is 6.5 gallons. An inch of fish per gallon is what I've heard almost everywhere.
I have 5 fish in this tank, two glofish danios and three glofish tetras. I want to get more in the future maybe one or two. These fish love the space and seem very content.
I love this tank so far, I may do a review in a few months after cleaning the tank and seeing how the filtration system holds up.

Tank came cracked but the company sent me a new one within one day, completely hasle free and no charge. This is absolutely beautiful and good for the price. It's plastic which can be annoying but it's exactly what I was looking for when upgrading my betta from a 3 gallon to something a little bigger. He seems really happy with the space and I really like the LED lights that came with it. The filter is very quiet almost too quiet to where I didn't know if it was even on; and the flow is calm enough that my betta doesn't mind swimming in that current. Oh and my snail is happy too! Tank is roughly the size of one 12 pound fluffy mutt.

The tank is beautiful and very nice, we like the shape of it, but I hate the timer on the light. I did not realize the light was on a time when I purchased it or I would not have bought it. I turn on the fish tank lights in the morning and turn them off at night before I go to bed. I also use it as a reminder each morning that I fed the fish. With this light turning itself off after a couple of hours I sometimes forget if I fed them. Also, it leaves the fish in complete darkness all day/night long.

The filter that came with this however is horrible. It quit sucking up water and the filter was bone dry after 3 days of usage. It was making a very awful noise as the pump tried to work. I tried re-filling the filter but the water wouldn't stay in it. It is very weird but now I have to spend the money to go buy a new filter because the fish can not be without. After purchasing a new out-of-tank filter I realized there is a big bulge on the back of the tank where the filter should go, meaning the new filter can't sit nicely on the tank. Most tanks are flat all the way across on all seems. Not this one, so the new filter has to rest against the wall on the top of the tank making things very awkward.

I've grown to hate this tank and cannot recommend it. You can't change the accessories (filter) easily and timer for the lights is just flat out annoying.

I love this tank. I needed something a bit bigger for my beta. It is very sturdy and easy to set up. The pump is perfect for the tank. Not to strong of a current that the fish have difficulty swimming. Wonderful size for decorations for live plants both in height and width. I have not have any problems with the led lights like other people have commented about. There are way too many settings. Im not sure a fish would really like blinking red, blue, green, yellow...lol. But the light is nice and bright.
