There is a slide volume control in the splitter for left and right ear. Just one of the ear pieces has worked since it was new. If I push down on the slide volume, i can get both ear pieces to work but that's not practical. Yet another hands free to the garbage but this one was from when I took it out of the box.
A cord clip and wider variety of ear buds would be nice, but you'll be more than satisfied with these ...

WOW! The sound from these earbuds is nothing short of astonishing. And microphonic (from having the cord rub against your clothes and the like) are practically nonexistent. A cord clip and wider variety of ear buds would be nice, but you'll be more than satisfied with these earbuds, especially for the price. They sound even better than an $80 pair of Klipsch buds that I had once. If you need new buds, look no further. You won't regret buying these.

First pair got jacked up after a month or so (left headphone only worked when jack was adjusted just right). With the second pair the right headphone suddenly dropped in volume mid-song and is much quieter than the left.
The sound quality was good overall though so if you want to bet on some iffy low-cost headphones then you might as well try these.

I accidentally purchased two of them. The first pair that came in the mail, one of the earbuds wasn't working. Which I was like well that's great, I'm glad I accidentally bought a second one to replace the first one that doesn't work. The second pair of headphones suck just as badly. It randomly turns on and off my music, randomly activates siri, I can't talk to people on the phone while my headphones are connected. I got these because of high ratings, but what are the chances of buying two and having both of them not work properly. DON'T BUY THESE HEADPHONES. They look nice, but they also kind of hurt your ears, just sayin'.
