Easy to read, accurate, and adjustable..

I have this on my fence outside my kitchen window. It's easy to read. I can even read it at night with a flashlight. As for accuracy, it is always the same or very close to what my local TV stations are reporting. The TV stations are 6 to 7 miles away.
Update: This thermometer is adjustable even though the description did not say so when I ordered it. There is a small round housing on the back that contains the thermal spring. This small round housing can be turned with your hand. Turn clockwise for a colder reading. Turn counterclockwise for a warmer reading. It is a little hard to turn, as it should be so it will stay put. It does not take much. One degree is an extremely slight movement.
When the temps here got down in the 30s and 20s, this thermometer was reading 2 degrees colder than the nearby TV stations. I adjusted it easily. I will have to wait to see if it tracks with the TV stations in mild and hot weather.

Sure Seems Worth It to Me

You can buy a "patio" thermometer at any "big box" store for 1/3 the price of this one, so I was reluctant to click "Place your order." But, I'm getting too old to put up with junk merchandise that either doesn't work, looks, cheap, or fails shortly after you install it.
So, I was sincerely hoping that this Bjerg Wall Thermometer would be a little bit better than the average inexpensive ones you can find everywhere else. And so it is; way so!
First, it just looks "together." Fit, finish, crisp numerals, everything on center. The stainless surround has a very pleasing brushed steel look, and the face is high contrast, crisp lettering that's big enough to see from the pool, even though the thermometer is mounted in the shade of the patio.
Of course, there's one thing that is of upmost importance, and that is a thermometer that accurately displays the temperature. I have a NIST traceable thermometer for comparison, and so I let the two of them stabilize side by side on the dining table for a few hours and the Bjerg matched the "standard" perfectly within the needle's nicely narrow width. Then, I repeated the process outside in the afternoon 100°+ heat, and again, a perfect match. But, the best part is that if it had been off, Bjerg attaches instructions for how to tweak the calibration if needed. But, in this case, there was no need.
So, it's looking fabulous in it's new patio location, reading accurately, and just showing the value of its cost brilliantly.

This item is really nice, a good quality product. It was great to find the product came in different finishes. We have stainless steel cabinets in our garage and this item goes great with the cabinets. Even though our garage is insulated, it is not heated. We have a small section of water line that is exposed in the garage. Our winters are not really terrible ( like Chicago, Wisconsin, Ohio, etc), but we normally get spells of cold temperatures dipping into the teens & twenties for 2 to 4 day periods. It is these times I'm concerned about the water line mentioned earlier. I have this thermometer situated on the same wall as the water line. In this location, I can look through the glass window of our kitchen door and see what the temperature is in the garage. Since I'm looking across the room, high on the wall, I wanted a thermometer with large numbers. My wife liked the idea, but insisted it look nice. So I picked out several that would do the trick and she made the final decision from the presented selection. So yes, we love it!!
Very Accurate After Calibrating

Finally got this thermometer to read accurately after a few weeks of calibrating. Had to get used to the calibration button that is rather precise. Nonetheless, this patio thermometer is now the first thing I look for on winter mornings in North Idaho. It tells me and the dog how we need to dress for our morning walk. The numbers are a little hard to see from a distance but I've learned to read them the way you'd read the arms of a clock.
Hard to read outside, 2 design challenges

I ended up returning this thermometer.
The thermometer is really beautiful. The problem is that is is REALLY hard to read from a reasonable distance. There are two reasons for this...
(1) The bronze solids sides go up 1pr 1.5 inches to a flat clear front piece. The sides, while very pretty, cause the face of the therometer to get less light and more shadows. Other thermometers do a clear dome with no sides. Much better.
(2) The font style the numbers are prints in looks great up close, from a distance (15-20 feet ) it is very difficult to to read. Get instead a thermometer with huge, bold numbers and reading it is easy.
Combine 1 & 2 and a beautiful looking thermometer is simply unusable. Very sad to return it.
