Really comfortable boots, when sitting down
James M.✓ Verified Purchase•September 23, 2023
Really comfortable boots, when sitting down, almost like slippers with the padded insert. I haven't had a chance to wear them all day but I don't think there will be any issues. The only problem I can find with these boots is that there are literally no insoles in them. When you take the padded insert out there is no type of insole left. If you had to wear them without the padded insert I think they would be uncomfortable. I just order a set of Dr. Scholl's insoles and I think that may solve the only problem I see in the boots. Good, comfortable boots. I'd buy again.
Great Winter Boots After a Fix

First-- I give these boots five stars when taking price into consideration. You can find much higher quality winter boots at three times the price but that's comparing apples to oranges.
However-- These boots don't really have great insulation in the soles. I solved this problem by adding the following insoles-- "JobSite Warm Feet Thermal Insoles "“ 3M Thinsulate Insulation." I live in Minnesota and was just outside for a couple of hours at +10F and felt no cold at all. The total cost for these was still well less than half the price of other boots that were in stores.
Note-- These aren't arctic boots and if I planned to be outside for many hours at a time in Northern Minnesota then I'd look for a different pair. But these boots with the added insoles are sufficient for about 95% of my winter outdoor needs.

Good value waterproof work boots

Sizing: I normally wear a US men's size 11. Ideally, I would order an 11.5 cold weather boot but ended up ordering a size 12. Still not a bad fit. The extra 1/2 size makes them a little clunkier than the otherwise already are. We got about a foot of snow now. Wore these boots with fox river sock liners under fox river 80% Merino wool boot socks with jeans and the bottom of my jeans got wet but socks and feet stayed warm and dry.
These boots do collect snow so its a good idea have a wisk broom handy to brush snow off rubber and soles before tracking snow and dirt everywhere. Very good value for work and recreational activities in one foot - 18" deep snow and 50mph winds.
No complaints about how they are assembled.

I would give this a five star. However, the insoles for the shoes was ripped after two wears.
