Decent

If you aren't careful, it is possible to mis-align the tool while engaging the lock lever. I needed to add shims to holder dovetails for better repeatability.
As other reviews indicated, a washer was needed. To remedy the tightening issue, I turned a 1.5" dia 1/16" thick (estimated) washer I had lying around down to an outer diameter of 0.95". Despite its flaws, its still easier than fussing around with the stock toolpost, sturdy enough for cutting plastics, and light cutting of steel.

Good tool for 3% of the cost

I was very plesantly surprised. Not at all flimsy or cheap in construction. Well made with finished edges and apporpriate clearances. The only modification I made was to put the brass thumbscrews in the lathe and shave off a Millimeter or so. But that was solely because I use 12mm tools. I could have used them as it but wanted the extra room. The supplied hardware worked perfectly on my generic eBay special 7x12 lathe. As long as you recognize it's limitations it is perfect. Dont try to turn Mack Truck brakedurms and you will be fine.
Tool holders are solidly built and available on Amazon for under $10
When you consider the cost of QC tool post with tooling of a 'brand name' is 3500% more I think it is a smashing value

The fit isn't as good as I'd like

The fit isn't as good as I'd like. When you tighten the post, the tool holder sits about 1/16" away from the post. It works, it's a bargain, I highly recommend it over the stock cheap lathe tool holders, but when I have more money I'll buy a nicer one.
Dont waste your money like I did!

Took a risk on the Aluminum tool post and holders. Just plain horrible tolerances and not ridged at all. Used on 7x14 Grizzly mini lathe.

Seems decent enough, my only complaint is that when you stick it on your lathe and tighten down the tool post to where the block won't turn you no longer have the ability to lock or unlock your tools from the post. Will have to machine some silicon bronze washers for the post to allow it to stay tight and actually work... over all I'm a little dissatisfied but for the price I can't complain. You get what you pay for... but a quick machining of some parts and it works pretty well now.
