I have 2 dogs that like to lay on the back of my new couch and were crushing the cushions and barking at everyone in the window. This kept my dogs off the couch for about 2 months. We loved it and I was astonished at how great this worked. We had tried the zapper but it kept falling off the couch or they would go around it. Unfortunately my lab decided that her need to terrorize the mail man was greater than her fear of the blanket. My other dog is still afraid of it and would have kept him off forever. I would highly recommend this as it's worked better than anything else we've tried.

It's very loud, and covers our couch perfectly so serves its purpose very effectively and I would suggest anyone purchase this. I do caution anyone though, because it sort of punishes you each time you have to put it on and fold it to sit on your furniture, reminding you that your cat is a jerk and is still dictating your lives. He otherwise would be sitting on our couch and drooling over everything so this is our best solution. I love him so much and he's adorable and affectionate, but that drool...*shudders* Another tip: ensure that you've tucked this completely into all possible places on your furniture, or your cat will slip easily under it and have nice naps beneath it, as ours did/does if we aren't diligent.
These are saving my new furniture!

Oh my goodness...these pads are awesome! We have 4 cats and 2 dogs and just got new furniture....need I say more? After spending all this $$$ on furniture, we did not want it messed up by mud, hair, etc., etc., etc. None of our pets like these crinkly pads. They are so well worth it!
Dog and Cat dont couch surf when I am not home

I know if i were a dog that I wouldnt want to lay on it. I could tell from an indention on the blanket tucked into the couch that one of my pets attempted to get on it but I havent had any proof that my pets have been relaxing on it while I am not home. Thank you for making my life easier so I do not have to continuous wash my couch covers and have my sofa smelling like dog. Its a little inconvenient having to move the blanket but I would much rather do that then cover my sofa (still having to remove a couch cover) then let my pet continue thinking its okay to be on the sofa when I am not home and not allowing so. The sound is also not my favorite but this is why it works with the pets!
My cats won't go near it! Really works.

This really works. Our cats hate the sound of it. We have a leather couch and, if you know cats, they love to sharpen their claws on leather. I was so disappointed to get a new couch and have to cover it with aluminum foil. When guests came I'd have to run and pull off all these wrinkled pieces of foil. What a mess. With the Mosher Pet Repeller I just pull it off, fold it and stash it out of the way. No more cat claw holes in the couch and no more having to hold guests at the door. Great idea.
