I first had this hot sauce at a seafood place in LA and now search it out. It's flavorful and the heat is mild that slowly builds to a good lip burn. If you've had Secret Aardvark hot sauce, it's similar, but a runnier consistency and with about 1/3 of the heat. Perfect for a person like me who appreciates flavor but not the gastric reprocussions of hotter sauce.

A well-balanced hot sauce that successfully produces moderate heat and flavors more complex than typical vinegar and pepper sauces. It's savory, and never overpowers the food to which it is added. I'm a bit of a connoisseur for hot sauces. That being said, I don't like absurdly hot sauces. They say it's vinegar based but, I don't taste it. The blends with spices make it undetectable.
