The chain is larger and stronger than I thought, but, good gosh, it is very good. I use it to hang artwork on the walls using picture molding and hooks. This method allows me to make countless adjustments and changes without ever driving a nail into the walls. The chain easily supports three large, framed in glass artworks in a perfect column. More, I can adjust them so that rows and columns line up perfectly. It is an inexpensive solution to showing artwork and not marring the walls in any way, form or shape. I should add that these wall were put up about 1917 are are plaster over lathe, not sheetrock. These are not the kind of walls you ever want to damage and the chain allows me to display artwork, change the artworks at will and make any adjustments easily and quickly.

This chain was larger than I was expecting, but you get a good amount of it and it is easy to work. I am using it on things like hanging bird feeders, hanging a home built wood clock, and strange things like that. It seems plenty sturdy to hold around 30-40 pounds in a good wind, but this is not chain you would use to hold 100 pounds up. The links can be easily bent using pliers which makes it good for working with. You can easily turn the end link into a hook for hanging, or join multiple strands together.
Much Cheaper... and Stronger, than the short lengths found at Big Box stores

I'm putting up several fluorescent fixtures in my new shop. I needed Jack chain to suspend them from the 16' ceiling. The stuff at the L--e's and H--me D---t were in 15 foot lengths and about $8 a package.
I bought two packages of these chains--the wire is twice the diameter as the other chains, and the 100' lengths means I'm not splicing pieces of overpriced chain together.
Plus, the chain works great for other uses like hanging individual keys for shop machines, cabinets, etc.

Tucker than I wasn't expecting making it harder to work with than I needed but that's not a bad thing in terms of product quality. The coloring wasn't even so I'm reducing it a star but if that isn't a concern to you I would buy this product. For me it's just a general needs nice to have around thing so the differences in the polish on the chain weren't a concern.

I ordered this chain for a garage project that had many overhead lights that needed to hang. The chain worked perfectly and I would purchase it again. 12 gauge chain is hard to find, it cost more but I wanted to be sure everything I hung overhead was going to stay there.
