I'm using small pieces of this in my bonsai pots and it looks amazing! I've been very resistance to putting anything artificial in my bonsai pots, because it always looks tacky, gimmicky, its color fades, etc. But this grass is awesome! It looks so real and it's very short blades so it works well in the bonsai displays (at least for the medium and large ones).
I drill a lot of holes through the rubber bottom of it so that water has no problem draining through it and into the soil.
This is especially awesome when it comes to trees that I have potted such that they are sitting up above the rim of the pot. This goes on to control erosion when watering.

I purchased these thinking I was going to tape them together (I needed a long 2x15 section) with turf tape but it didn't work out!! the turf rug is nice and thick and shiny and better than another purchase I made of turf rug on Amazon. I would recommend this if you need a small rug or even that specific size but definitely not taping them and having them loose as an area rug. One corner likes to roll up and cut a few strings on sides but no major issues.
One thing I did notice was how much dirt this keeps out of the house!!! I placed it in front of the door and was shocked at how much dirt/debris/leaves it actually traps outside of your house so it's an amazing doormat!!

My ancient dog has repeatedly soiled the same 3'x5' part of my backyard. Just too wobbly to get any farther into the yard before letting loose. I dug up and re-sodded several times. Eventually you have to just cry uncle . Dug out a rectangle, mowed the lawn short, and slid this in. It doesn't look exactly like the original grass, but so much better than the brown dead grass it replaced.

LOVE IT! SEE BEFORE/AFTER PICS). I have a small backyard, and needed to cover about 10' x 7'. and I'm lazy, so researched fake lawns. I'm on a small budget and the price and size of this was perfect. took me about 2 hours to install and stake ( BUY LAWN STAKES!! I wanted to make sure it wouldnt move, so I bought 100 stakes. I also used kitchen shears to shape it, and cut holes for sprinklers. then i used wood log egding and that helped to give it a more natural look and river rock. it DOES get VERY hot in direct sun.
