Smells Terrible
HoneyLissaBee✓ Verified Purchase•June 10, 2018
I purchased this item for my own personal use. At the time, I was traveling between appointments without a chance to eat, or working in childcare positions that required me to eat meals while holding an infant. I decided to purchase a food pouch for items such as yogurt in order to eat it on the go. This allowed me to save money by purchasing larger containers of yogurt while eating the brands of yogurt I prefer.
Unfortunately, while the pouch is good in theory, it simply smells too terrible to use. I have tried everything in my power to get the smell out, but nothing has worked. I tried to ignore the smell, but whatever has made the product smell so horrible also affects the flavor of whatever I put in the pouch. I eventually had to throw the pouch away as it was completely unusable.
The pouch is also a little bit of a challenge to fill cleanly, but I assume finding a good technique for filling would have come with practice.

I bought this for my 8 month old daughter who loves those disposable food pouches. I was indecisive on which size to get for her, but went with the 3.5 oz. She figured it out very quickly and sucks and squeezes it out. It has a no spill insert that is removeable which i love. The silicone collapses on itsself as the volume of contents goes down. She was able to get most of it out, but as others said, there is still a little in corners that i help her with. This size is perfect for her now, but i will need the larger size in a month or two. We put yogurt or applesauce in it, i let her do it herself, put it in the fridge intil next time, then reload and go. Wash it at the end of the day. I was making my own purees, but as she got older she wanted to self feed and wasnt patient enough for me to spoon them in. This gives her independence to self feed, keeps messes at minimum, and i can sneak in healthy homemade purees. A little pricey, but it is used multiple times a day, and i can avoid buying all those pouches. Good teether also!
Love these!

I love these! Many other reviews do a really good job describing the many facets of the Squeasy Snacker. Please be sure to read through the most useful ones. I agree with the high praise that is given in the reviews. I would like to add my own personal endorsement. I am a quadriplegic with limited use of my hands. I often eat meals from my overbed table in my hospital bed. I wanted something that I could put peanut butter, hummus, mayonaise, and other soft foods in to make it easier for my caregivers to bring me my meals. I also wanted the freedom to use as much as I wanted. Regular squeeze bottles are too hard for me to squeeze and, quite frankly, are better for ketchup and mustard. Many squeeze bottles are hard to fill because of the small opening. The Squeasy Snacker was the solution I was looking for. It's easy to squeeze, even with my disability and the opening where you fill it is big enough to fill using a knife, spatula, or small spoon. I bought the product for use with paste like foods, but after using it a few times I already can see it's potential for other uses. When used for the peanut butter and hummus I don't need to use the the no spill insert, but it will come in handy if I decide to use them with thinner foods and liquids. They are easy to clean, easy to take apart and reassemble, are made from silicone, have a locking lid (it stays put so it won't flop down into your food or face), can be squeezed or sucked to get the food/liquid out, is easy to open and close, and comes in some nice color choices. Oh, and did I say I like the little hole on the lid where a small carabiner can be clipped. I definitely will be buying more of these, both in this size and the larger Squeasys. I love the review that tells how useful it is for tube feedings, which is a real possibility in my future. Being a former trained cook, I'm pretty picky about what I use in the kitchen and the Squeasy Snacker certainly passes muster. I wish I had had these when I had my kids. Imagine the ways I could have used them. As an aside, someone said they had a smell and I was concerned, since I very sensitive to smells. The two I have have no smell and don't add any flavor to whatever you put inside them.
Awesome!

We LOVE this product! We love it so much that I bought the 16oz a few days later! My daughter is tube fed and the great things about this thing is the tip fits perfectly into the end of her feeding tube OR the feeding syringe fits perfectly into the tip of the pouch so you have two options for feeding on the go! You can also freeze it AND throw it all in the dishwasher! Seriously, a game changer in our house. Thanks Squeasy Gear, for making our lives a little easier!
Better than any other pouches we've tried!

We use these silicone pouches to give our triplets smoothies nearly every day as a snack. We have also given soup and yogurt. The kids have been using them without a problem since about 11 months. They are very simple to clean - a rinse with plain water usually leaves it looking good as new (although I obviously use soap, too). They say you can turn it inside out for more in-depth cleaning, but the neck of the pouch does no feel like I could do that every day without eventually incurring damage, so I reserve that emergency cleaning situations. The red valve makes the pouch easier for the kids to use since it maintains a sort of vacuum inside the pouch, allowing the pouch to compress as used rather than continually re-inflating with air. It is easy to suck the contents out, but you have to squeeze a reasonable amount to squirt them, making these pouches significantly less messy than disposable pouches. My only complaint is that two of our six red valves have a slow leak which lets air back in (and have since we got them). We love these little pouches!
