The overall design is great and they've held up well so far

I bought two of these a few months ago, one for salt and one for peppercorns. I use both of them almost every day when cooking dinner, and both work equally well for salt and pepper. The overall design is great and they've held up well so far!
Here are the pros that I've observed:
- The fineness of grind is adjustable
- Easily refillable
- The glass makes it feel sturdy, unlike acrylic mills
- You can easily see what's inside, unlike matching wooden mills
- The stainless steel really is stainless... shocking since I often have messy hands when I cook
- Smaller size makes it an easy fit for compact kitchens
- Good value
I have one minor con:
- Since the top is flared, the salt and/or pepper get everywhere when I grind it. I often have to wipe down the counter after grinding it over my plate.
Overall, I would recommend!

I bought this to grind celery seed in my morning V8 juice. I have great pepper mills but the seeds just fall through. This is a fine machine.
I know that I could use celery salt, which contains celery seed, but I do not want the additional salt since V8 is already salted.
