Purchased this prior to a family get-together on Christmas Eve, as our older members are having problems with the rather high step-up into our house. Our back deck, fortunately, is exactly the maximum height (12") for this 6-foot ramp while using an occupied wheelchair. I pulled myself, my mother-in-law in her lightweight chair up the ramp with no sweat. Estimated total load 360 lbs. The ramp flexed somewhat but felt solid and provided great traction. Folds and stores easily, easy to carry with the attached handle and 30 lb weight. Very important not to exceed the recommended height/length ratio so the incline angle does not get unmanageable. Good product.
They are very study.

They are very sturdy and unfold pretty easily, but are fairly heavy for one person to put up and take down. Overall, they work well. I have a concrete porch and have chosen not to drill holes in it to secure the ramp to it. So I tend to take it up and put it down more often.

Handyman installed for my wheelchair neighbor so she could go out her patio french door. Needed to handle the wheelchair and a hefty person. It does. The black, rough surface provides extra traction and will not be slippery when wet from rain. It did take a cement drill bit to secure the bottom of the ramp to the patio surface. Very stable. Important to measure properly to get the right size for the doorway. No installation instructions but easy to figure put.

There is a 3 inch drop from our kitchen to the enclosed back porch with a door that leads to a deck. Electric wheelchair user couldn't get outside to the deck without help. Ramp works great & seems sturdy enough to last for years. Handle is very convenient. I think this was very reasonably priced.
