I bought these headphones to use while working out because my older pair of headphones stopped syncing with my iOS device (seriously Apple?) - Anyhow, the headphones arrived as expected. The box includes instructions, a small carry pouch, and a microUSB to USB cable to charge the headphones before using them for the first time. Charging them to full took less than 40 minutes, and syncing to my iPhone was effortless. Good job SoundBot!

The sound: WOW! I was blown away. Not because the sound is amazing, but because I was expecting kind of crappy sound for the price I paid. Nope. The headphones tend to emphasize the bass, but all in all, they offer a good balance and good quality sound to enjoy your music while working out.

The fit: I have a large head and a broad neck, but the headphones fitted just fine for me. Snug enough to keep most of the gym noise off without having to increase the volume to the max. I also wore them with my glasses on while on the treadmill without having any issues.

The finish: They don't look bad at all, but the gloss black neck look might not be everyone's favorite. I tend to be careful with my headphones, so I don't anticipate breaking them anytime soon, but to put the headphones inside the pouch, you have to rotate the arm that holds the ear pad. It wasn't a big deal for me, but I did catch myself doing that very carefully because I didn't want to break them... So, if your fine motor skills are limited, you'll find this challenging.

Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase. I'd definitely recommend these over-the-ear headphones for anyone who works out or likes to walk around without having to deal with ear buds.

slightly heavy, but worth it - good bass, frame does not pinch the top of my ears, and does not bite into mu skull either! gets PLENTY loud so even if they have the music loud at the gym, i can still hear my music. it definitely takes a little getting used to - when i first got on the elliptical it felt like they were falling off, but turns out they were just settling onto my ears. only quirk is that while doing crunches, the hard neck band will sometimes touch the floor/pad and move them a little. the solution there was to just turn my head a little to one side or look up so the neck band was touching my neck instead of the floor.

no problems while jumping rope, walking fast (3.5mph) on treadmill, or using any of the machines. also not a problem leaning over to drink from the water fountain. once i got used to them, it never once felt like they were going to fall off.

My son received these as a Christmas present, and in less than a week with very limited use, the hinge broke. He has had headphones last for long periods without breaking, so he knows how to properly handle them (a Sony pair of corded headphones is going on a year). I am very disappointed in the quality. Unfortunately, the box was thrown away with the Christmas trash, so hopefully my return will be accepted.

Solid pair of headphones.. They don't lag nor lose connection. I've been using mine daily, while using and switching to other bluetooth devices without any problems. It automatically connects to my phone when I power it on which is great and convenient without having to open up settings everytime. Battery Life is amazing being advertised as 15 hours of playtime. After using it alllll day, it's still over half way full. Because of this, the only downfall is that it's not as loud as I'd like it to be sometimes. Sounds quality is decent, I just wish it could go louder every now and then. For that reason, I knocked off a star or two. But overall, it can control my music and volume and does everything I need it to including a button for Siri and voice command.
I mainly got this because I loved the old Sony street style behind the neck headphones and so far these are the closest things to them that I have found.
I would recommend these if you are looking for a behind the neck style with good functionality and battery life.
But if sound is MOST important to you, I would not recommend.

The thing that I am most blown away with is the sound quality of these little headphones for the price. Look you are not going to get high end audiophile quality at this price. However, these cans are clean, accurate, and very fun to listen to. That was exactly what I was looking for when I bought these. The bass is very punchy but not boomy. If you are a hardcore bass head look elsewhere.I have owned tons of ear buds and headphones over the years and by far this is the best 18 bucks I have ever spent! When these things came in from Amazon I could not stop listening to them. Needless to say I am now a sound bot fan. Thanks SoundBot for making such a fun and functional product.
