I have only used this for about 1 month but it has been flawless. The local Directv came out and installed the standard LNB and mounted and peaked the dish. I decided to add another DVR to my system so I bought and installed this unit and it was plug and play. I didn't have to touch the dish, just removed and preplace the original one with this one. Just needed a 7/16 open end wrench.
