It looks great but does not work

It looks like a sturdy machine if it worked. After I received it, I followed all the instructions plugged it in and pressed the on button and it did not work. I am returning it, and will not order another one from this company. I ordered a similar slicer from a different manufacturer

It's a bit smaller than I expected it to be but it gets the job done. I wish the handle to hold the meat swung around a bit more but I can live with that.
