I bought several of these blankets in 2020 and never had need to use them until now. While cooking, a grease fire started on my stove. I reached under my sink, pulled out the fire blanket, and threw it over the fire. Instantly the flames tamped down. I adjusted it to fully cover the area and within seconds the flames were out. The picture shows how the blanket (even grease soaked) was able to control the fire.
Even better, I remembered that the company offers a replacement after incident and reached out to inquire, including pictures. They were quick to respond and confirm my address and the size blanket I had purchased before shipping me a new one.
I can't emphasize enough how great this product is. I have one for every bedroom and a replacement on the way for my kitchen. Definitely worth the investment for safety and peace of mind.
