The Extra Large Day Clock has made my mother's life much better. She can read the large numbers from across the room and now knows the time of the day whenever she looks at it. Best of all, the clock is not too bright and does not flood her room at night with unwanted light. Setting the clock is intuitive and I never needed to consult the instructions.
The only thing I would change is merely cosmetic. The power cord would be less distracting if it were white instead of black. It is quite noticeable against the light walls of her room. Of course someone may have the opposite opinion if they mounted a clock with a white cord on a dark colored wall.
I highly recommend this clock. It is a quality product and the company seems to be genuinely interested in making their customers happy.

Add a talking feature which announces the hours by talking it out loud and also add a talking feature to announce the alarm time. 2. This item has been profoundly useful for my 93-year-old friend. She calls it her magic clock and it is extremely helpful in keeping her oriented. She's also now able to take her morning and evening medications with confidence. I've seen clocks with one or two features, but this clock has it all. I bought this clock for my mother, who has impaired vision and who has some difficulty keeping track of what time of day it is. She loves this thing. She checks it every time she's near it, and as nearly as I can tell, gets about as much enjoyment as one can from a clock. The clock is easy to set up, and can be hung on the wall with a small drywall screw, or propped on a table top (it has a built-in support which flips out from the back of the clock). Although the clock is marketed for seniors, anyone will find it handy. I'm guessing it might also be useful for a small child who's just learning to read and tell time. Bottom line: we like this clock well enough that I'm considering getting another one for another part of the house.

Got this for my aunt who has macular degeneration. She can see the time and was delighted. It came with minimal directions but was actually quite easy to set and to select among the various displays. It was ready to go within 5 minutes of unpacking. However, this should be done by a sighted person. The cord has a normal two-prong plug for wall outlets.
The frame was obviously plastic but OK, particularly for someone who cannot see well. She had an old clock which was quite attractive but unreadable; she happily and without hesitation replaced it with this one. The clock is light and easy to hang on a wall.
I cannot speak to durability since she has only had it a week.
