This hitch works great with my husbands wheelchair, I have rheumatoid arthritis and I can lift and lower the gate with minimal problems. I tried to use it to transport my small power scooter but the incline on the gate was too steep on a flat surface so I am going to get a ramp extension so that I can do this as well. The hitch bottom is large enough and heavy enough to support a mobility scooter but the ramp is just a bit too short. It was very easy to put together but the instructions are very unclear. I recommend you look at the photos of the product before beginning assembly and assembly is a snap. Mine was missing one of 4 lock nuts for the liftgate pins but I just bought one locally for expediency. I recommend this product to anyone who needs to transport mobility aids.

Its a nice sturdy design and will work well for my purpose but the instructions are awful. The pictures are unclear the bolts are mentioned but others left out. If your good and figuring things out and how things should fit and what bolt use you will be fine if you struggle in that department get help or look elsewhere. The product itself is well thought out though.

I had a part that was missing that was supposed to be welded on. Seller was more than willing to work with me and get the issue corrected. It works for what I need it for, the only small thing that I don't like is it has a slight angle to it. not sure if it's vehicle fitment or where the holes are drilled for the Locking pins.

First of all this company has great customer service. I ordered one of these and when it arrived it was missing an L-shaped bracket that holds the ramp and the carrier together. I contacted customer service and they couldn't find a replacement but ended up shipping an entire other carrier and set of accessories. The carrier is sturdy and is easy to put together. The instructions and pictures were hard to make out with the poor printed instructions, but the seller provided a .PDF of them. It is advised to get a MaxxHaul 70283 4-Bolt Sturdy Anti-Wobble 2"x 2" Hitch Adapter Stabilizer or any other 2x2 stabilizer for your hitch to make sure it is sturdy. But overall happy with the product, works as intended.
