I actually bought this to splice into a fan for my garage so I could plug it into an outlet. I put up a fan and there wasn't a fan or light fixture wiring so I had to improvise.
Probably isn't the safest thing but it worked great and the fan has been running with no issues for about a month now.

I love how thick it is, makes it easy to use outside in all weather conditions. It is very east to roll up and store any small spaces. Love it.

I haven't put this cord to hard use, but it functions as intended, with the dusk to dawn timer on the led stake lights behind the barn. Seems to be well made. The cord is sheltered, not subject much to the elements or traffic. Ducks walk on it sometimes.
