Got this for my son for a Christmas present, watched all the videos and couldn't sync the remotes and time ran out to return them. I contacted the seller and they had me send them back and they started by sending a new bot and remote but it still wasn't working so all got sent back, they were truly not working due to moisture while shipping and so seller just sent me new bots and remotes plus batteries for the remotes. So yeah much appreciated and so happy with them.

Bottom line, my 10 year old absolutely loves this. He was ecstatic to receive for his birthday. Downside was Witch Doctor didn't work out of the box. Upside: The company stands by their products, they sent a replacement immediately upon contact. Yes, you will go through batteries, though that was known to us beforehand. We supervise that they're turned off when not in use and feel like the battery life is acceptable, especially with how much joy it brings our son!

Purchased as a Christmas gift for grandson as he asked for it. The family watches the TV show that is like this battlebot. Gift opened, put together easily and began hours of fun. Comes with batteries to start play right away. I recommend getting more batteries ahead of time. The item is so much fun that many hours later new batteries are needed. More items can be purchased to go along with this to extend is fun. Ages using this are 8 yrs & 11 yrs. Grandma even enjoyed it.

I bought the BattleBots arena as a gift for my nephew, and we spent hours playing this remote-controlled combat game. The arena is easy to put together and makes a self-contained area for the bots to battle each other. The arena also has "pulverizer" levers in two of the corners, which create a second way to attack the opposing bot. The remote controls work very well in controlling the bots, and the bots are in wheels that move quickly to add to the excitement. The Tombstone bot's wheels only sproradically worked at first, but we added ducktape around the circumference of the wheels to make them large enough to work. We had a lot of fun playing BattleBots. Although i never watched the show, I caught a few video clips of the real-life game and found it fascinating. This is a great gift idea for any age 8+ with a game that is competitive which doesn't become boring after a few tries.
