This probe worked as described, I was debating on getting the longer one, but once I used this one I can see that it is the right size. When the soil is hard you can put your weight over this and push down easier. The taller one this would have been difficult. Anyone 6 foot or small this is the right size for them. Also, this probe is well built and very sturdy.
