I purchased this along with the Kuna Toucan Outdoor Security Camera with Alarm/Motion Detection and 2-Way Intercom. I had to reset the Maximus Outdoor Light about 5 times already. The camera keeps on going down. It also gives the false alarm when shadows of the trees sway due to the light wind (even at 50% sensitivity setting). It's far from perfect, but I can put up with it. The Kuna Toucan Outdoor Security Camera with Alarm/Motion Detection and 2-Way Intercom is even worse. The camera/light would not respond to the settings, I set it at 45 - 50% sensitivity and 30 seconds to 1 minute for the light to go off - after the motion is detected, but the light keeps on staying up all night and won't turn off. The camera also gives multiple false alarms due to the swaying of the trees (like the Maximus Outdoor Light).

The customer service from Kuna is non-existing. They don't have a phone # to call. The only contact with them is by email. Being that the Maximus Outdoor Light is more reliable then the camera, I only sent Kuna emails in regards to the problems with the Toucan Outdoor Camera and asked for an exchange (not a refund). Kuna Customer Service Rep. Christopher Elliott responded via email that I set my sensitivity too high at 100% and suggested that I reset my system by turning it off for 20 seconds to reset it. I checked my setting, and it was at 45% sensitivity. I went ahead and reset it per Elliott's email, but the results were the same. I sent Kuna 4 additional follow up emails asking them to exchange the camera, but they chose to ignore them and would not respond.

Kuna has unreliable products, extremely bad customer service. Save yourself the headache, don't buy their products - especially these 2 products.

I recommend these lights if you are on the market looking for a security cameras that are built into good looking exterior lighting. I haven't had any issues with these and had them up for about a month now. I know I read some mixed issues with these where people are saying that they have connectivity issues. My suggestion is to reset them by turning off your switch for about a minute and reconnect them. Other then that sometimes the internet connection especially if you have Comcast will occasionally drop internet connectivity. It has only occurred one time, and I power cycled my router and haven't had that issue since.

Kuna light is easy to install and link to my iPhone and it looks great. After I installed the kuna kight fixture after only one night i caught an individual aproach my home at 1:30 am with a sock on his hand he climbed my stairs and stole my light bulb. And he stole several more in my neighborhood with video i had we posted this on facebook many people saw the video . The story was picked up by a local radio station whose dj was also a victim of this creepy man it was then broadcast on wbz tv 4 in boston this thief is now known as the "charlestown light bulb bandit" if you google this charlestown light bulb bandit you can see the video. Well done kuna i will be installing more of these light at the other entrances to my house.

I cannot say enough about the Kuna. We bought it after reports of our neighbor tresspassing, going through our mail and trash, and acting like he lived there while we were away at work. We installed the Kuna, it was just as easy as they say... I was looking for issues with it because I thought it was too good to be true.

We installed it, hooked up the wifi, and it is CRYSTAL CLEAR. It's like I am right there at all times.

We were so happy with it even without having neighbor problems, but just yesterday I got a notification on my phone and immediately I could see our neighbor rummaging through our trash on our property and trying to open our door. We have filed a police report and if it wasn't for the footage I downloaded, we could not prosecute him.

The image is crystal clear. the sound quality... it is incredible. Again I thought it was too good to be true, but it works just like they say! and we got ours for $179 + 2 weeks free trial of the camera footage which only cost $50 for the year.

Amazing.

The only thing I would say is you MUST have a good wifi connection. Ours was a little spotty at first so we moved our router closer and it works amazing now.

WORTH ALL THE MONEY

So far this has worked as advertised. Easy setup and configuration. Not all application functions worked until firmware was updated which takes some time. You can trigger it to update yourself, but it takes a bit and may seem like it isn't updating...but it is. I was not able to turn off the LED with the Android app, I had to use my iPhone app.

I have the light mounted on the wall in the same plane as the door, and adjusting the camera is tricky to get the right angle to see a full person.

The image and sound is fantastic and the ability to zoom on the live video looks great...the Light settings are nice and work well and I only had a few false notifications for which I just need to tweak the camera lens angle and motion sensitivity. Unit looks great and works as advertised.
