Fun and easy drone to use for beginners. I have a larger drone the SYMA X8W and this one if funner and is a breeze to learn. Highly recommend just make sure to buy extra batteries.
I read that this one corrected some of the stability problems and had better range. This may be so

My last drone was a x5-sw. I read that this one corrected some of the stability problems and had better range.
This may be so, but mine was broken on arrival. Motor failure on the first flight without any crashes or hard flying.
The video quality also seems just as bad as the old models. If that's a factor for you-get a cheap 808 keychain camera and you will at least be at old iPhone level quality.

The Syma is a nice small beginner type drone. It is light weight, durable, and the controls are easy to learn. I wish the battery life was a little longer. The camera take good pictures based on the price of this rig. This one was purchased so I could learn to fly with the intent to get a larger model in the future.

Fun to fly but if you're a beginner I would choose a different one to start out with. This one can get a little out-of-control if you are just learning to fly drones.

I am not any good at flying, but I will be able to learn. Make sure you are in a large area when you are learning to fly. I originally got one for my nephew, he in turn went and bought several different models, but goes back to this one as his favorite.
