After many years with no actual TV, we really wanted to watch the Olympics. So, we got this antenna to see if it would help. It did! So we went from basically a single watchable channel with rabbit ears to over 50 channels and subchannels, including the channel that the big event will be broadcast on. It's very simple to setup -- just attaching the two cords in the only way they'd go, and screwing in the other end of the coaxial cable into the TV (or tuner, or VCR, or whatever) connector labeled "IN." A couple tips: I may be imagining it, but it seemed to find the channels easier with the antenna outside, and then it worked just fine with the antenna indoors. Secondly, I knew that the local TV broadcast channels come from (a local mountain) so we turned the antenna to face it, and that seems to work best. So if you can figure out where your local broadcaster's signals come from, have it face that way. The antenna looks very nice and upscale, so it looks nice on our console table, near the TV. Plus the stand is easily attached or removed, and it's quite thin, so placing it out of the way (against a window under blinds or curtains, or behind a bookshelf or something) is no problem.

I recently got a hold of 3 of the Antop Antennas for testing. I live about 30 miles from my nearest antenna and wanted to review the quality and range of each of them. The ones I will be reviewing are:

Antenna 1 had less performance than Antenna 2 and 3. Channel 8 was cutting in and out here and there. The Quality was sturdy and nicely built. This came with an amplifier and power cord/adapater. I would recommend this antenna for people living within 20 miles of the nearest antenna. I am not docking any stars for this one since it got all the channels but 1 was cutting in and out.

Antenna 2 and 3 are built very well. Antenna #3 is a very thick type shiny plastic and does have an amplifier. Antenna #2 is a thin type shiny plastic that also has an amplifier. Both of them performed exactly alike and I received all the channels that I should be getting. The one thing that I can tell you is that Antenna #2 came with a USB power cord for the amplifier. Antenna #3 did not which was a bummer. A lot of users today use USB power from their flat screen/LCD tvs and was confused why Antenna #3 only came with a wall plug adapter. Either way, just make a note of that if you plan to use your USB from your TV to power the antenna. I would definitely recommend either of these antennas, but would lean heavy on Antenna #2 because it came with a USB power adapter AND the antenna itself is much thinner.
