My neighbor has two little dogs and they bark loud all the time. That is why I bought this repellent. But it only works on one dog. He stops barking and hides. But the other dog starts barking twice as hard to make up for it. And it is very agitated my it. Even in direct sight within 4 feet this repellent just don't work on it.

My Pug is very stubborn on the walk. We rescued him at 5 years old and he'd never been on a leash. After 2 YEARS of trying to train him he's getting it but barks at other dogs, buses, trucks, etc. I got this and began training with treats when he doesn't bark. It STOPS HIM IN HIS TRACKS (on the training or audible setting). The "Ultra" level is too much so the training level is all that is needed is a tap on the "audible" "no bark" command and sometimes a treat. He's now going with JUST the "no bark" command--never thought we'd get there!
Works but is painful for some dogs

I bought this for a lady whose dog I walk. Her Australian terrier barked at passersby from her ground-level apartment. She reported: "It works!"
She used it once when I was there. The dog ran into the bedroom, hid in the far corner under the bed, and refused to come out for a good 10 to 15 minutes. Apparently, he is super-sensitive to it.
She reported that the audible tone works just as well as the inaudible, probably because she sometimes hits the wrong button and he associates the two. My suggestion is, if you have a very sensitive dog like this, use the audible, then immediately the inaudible. After just a couple times you'll probably only have to use the audible, non-painful button.

I would rather be writing a 5 star review because that would mean this device actually helped solve or at least curb my barking problem. I have been trying it for several days now when my neighbors dogs start barking at me, on the last attempt I very literally held the device less than a foot from the dog as it barked and growled at me. The dogs simply don't care and will continue on until I get tired of trying and leave. I had high hopes due to the higher star rating compared to other similar devices.
The device itself feels cheaply made...it has a "flashlight" on it that couldn't light up a breadbox. I wish they would have used that LED to indicate when the device is working instead.

As a delivery driver I deal with a lot of dogs. Bought this thinking it would help me do my job a little better and faster. Took it with me on route for a couple days and it didn't work on a single dog on the entire route. I thought it was the battery but the audible sound button and the light works.
